I`m Kelly. The eye behind Seeing Iris Photography.

I`m a laid-back, free spirited creative who tries to see the

beauty in every rainy day. 

 

I  have the biggest smiles down by the sea with my family and pull most of my inspiration from long warm days spent in the water or exploring the beautiful coastal landscapes we are so blessed to have right in our Aussie backyard.

My natural approach to life, is the same approach I try and bring into my photography. 

​

I strive to capture raw, memorable moments that you wont ever want to forget. 

​

I shoot in natural light and prefer to be in the great outdoors.

​

I havent always taken photography seriously.

It just sort of naturally happened that way.

But once it did happen and I looked back I quickly realised it had been with me my whole life...And I mean my whole life!!!

I have my dad to thank for that ! 

​

And I have my beautiful children to thank for the inspiration, drive and confidence to chase my dreams ! 

​

I've been in the industry for almost 10 years after completing my diploma at Newcastle Art School and I honestly feel like I'm doing exactly what I should be doing-theres no greater feeling !

Through the week you`ll find me making kids laugh and smile doing childcare photography, but on the weekend i`m out there capturing the natural beauty that surrounds us, creating unique pieces and sharing it with the world.
